Rams' Amendola leaves game with shoulder injury

St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola, who entered Thursday night's game with Arizona as the second-leading pass-catcher in the NFL, left the game with a right shoulder injury midway through the second quarter.

He hurt himself while diving for a Sam Bradford pass at the Rams' 31-yard line. The play was originally ruled a catch but was changed to an incompletion following a replay review.

After exiting the field and jogging to the locker room, Amendola angrily fired his helmet off the wall. His return for the game's remainder was deemed questionable.

Amendola caught 31 passes in the Rams' first four games and hauled in a 44-yard reception on the game's second play.
