Pearson vs. Siver 2, Corassani vs. Young Added to UFC on Fuel TV 2 Fight Card
Two more bouts have been added to the upcoming UFC on Fuel 2 fight card in Sweden with one native son coming home and a rematch in store for the April show.
First up, former Ultimate Fighter competitor Akira Corassani will get the chance to go home to Sweden to fight on the upcoming card in his home country as he faces British striker Jason Young.
Corassani was a competitor on the 14th season of The Ultimate Fighter, but was unable to compete on the finale of the show due to an injury. Now he'll face tough England based fighter Jason Young in Sweden.
Also added to the card is a rematch between former Ultimate Fighter winner Ross Pearson and newly minted featherweight Dennis Siver.
The two fighters met at lightweight in March 2010 with Pearson coming out on top by unanimous decision. Now they will meet again just two years after the original fight and face off at 145 pounds in Sweden.
The bouts were originally reported by Swedish site mmanytt.se on Wednesday.
The UFC on Fuel 2 fight card takes place in Stockholm, Sweden, on April 14 and will be broadcast on Fuel TV in the United States.
