The New England Patriots filled their two roster vacancies by promoting rookie defensive backs Kanorris Davis and Justin Green from the practice squad to the active roster.

Over the past few days, the Patriots have released wide receiver Austin Collie and defensive back Marquice Cole.

Davis has played in two games this season.

Green has played in one game.

The Patriots play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday with a first-round bye on the line with a victory.
