Patriots Take Down Raiders, 16-9
The Patriots picked up the victory against the Raiders, 16-9, at home.
Tom Brady completed the game 24 for 37 with 234 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions. Derek Carr went 21 of 34 with 174 yards passing, no touchdowns and one pick for the Raiders.
Stevan Ridley ran for 54 yards on 19 carries. Julian Edelman caught 10 balls for 84 yards.
The New England defensive unit led the way to a victory, keeping the Raiders in check with 67 yards rushing and 174 passing while coming away with one interception.
Lastly, Stephen Gostkowski was perfect, hitting all three of the field goals he attempted.
Raiders wide receiver James Jones tallied 43 receiving yards.
The Patriots travel to Kansas City next week to meet the Chiefs (0-2) while the Raiders are at home to take on the Dolphins (1-1).
