Panthers' Upshall out a month

Florida Panthers forward Scottie Upshall will be out of action at least a month because of an ankle injury he sustained during a fight in Thursday's game against Winnipeg, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Friday.

The Panthers have had injury problems this season, and were starting to get healthy, with the return of Kris Versteeg and Marcel Goc this week.

But now they will be without Upshall, who has been plagued by injuries. He was limited to 26 games last season, when he had two goals and three assists.

He had one goal in seven games this season.
