Odell Beckham makes up with the kicking net after scoring a TD

New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham’s run-in with the kicking net on the sideline went viral, but there’s no beef between the two.

Beckham and the kicking net are friends again, after Beckham went over to the net and hugged it after his catch against the Green Bay Packers was ruled a touchdown. Hilarious.

“We hugged it out,” Beckham joked to reporters after the game.

Give Beckham credit for having a sense of humor when his temperament was the hottest topic of conversation over the past week. The criticism of him really started after Week 3 when he was lashing out on the sideline and hit the kicking net with his helmet, and the kicking net ended up falling on his head.

At first it didn’t seem like Beckham would celebrate his Sunday night score, which was his first of the season. He just ran back to the sideline. After a lengthy review in which officials tried to determine if he got both feet in bounds, the play stood and Beckham found the kicking net and made up.

The play didn’t help the Giants win, as they fell 23-16 to the Green Bay Packers. But Beckham gave us a good show, as usual.
