NHL roundup: Foligno signs with Blue Jackets
Free agent forward Nick Foligno reportedly has agreed to a three-year contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday.
The deal will be for a total of $9.15 million, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
Foligno, 24, was a restricted free agent whose rights were traded by the Ottawa Senators to the Columbus after the season.
Last season with the Senators, he scored a career-high 47 points in 82 games with 124 penalty minutes.
---The Tampa Bay Lightning has agreed to terms with goaltender Anders Lindback to a two-year contract, the team announced Friday.
The deal, which is worth $3.6 million, will pay the Swedish native $1.4 million next season and $2.2 million in 2013-14, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Lindback is expected to be Tampa Bay's No. 1 goaltender heading into the season. He was acquired from the Nashville Predators on June 15 with Kyle Wilson and a seventh-round draft pick for Sebastien Caron, two second-round picks and a 2013 third-round pick.
In 38 NHL games, Lindback is 16-13 with a 2.53 goals-against average.
