Sources: Clemson's Sammy Watkins to enter NFL draft

Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins will enter the 2014 NFL draft, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports.

A true junior, Watkins had 101 receptions for 1,464 yards and 12 touchdowns during this season with the Tigers. Clemson finished 11-2, beating Ohio State 40-35 in the Orange Bowl, where Watkins took home the game's MVP honors.

Watkins was dominant Friday, catching 16 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns. Afterward, he hinted that it was his last game at Clemson, saying his performance helped "finish off my legacy here."

Watkins is widely regarded as one of the top two receivers in this year’s draft.
