Something very interesting about the Miami Dolphins during their current six-game winning streak. In the Dolphins last four games, they’ve won via rookie Kenyan Drake 96-yard kickoff return, linebacker Kiko Alonso’s pick-six, quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s late touchdown throw, and on Sunday, the defense making a goal-line stand.

Good teams find numerous ways to win, and that has established the Dolphins during their winning streak. Miami has been able to adapt to its respective opponents. For instance, on Sunday, the 49ers loaded the box and made a point not to let Dolphins leading rusher Jay Ajayi beat them. Miami modified by throwing more, and quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw for three passing touchdowns.

Miami’s win streak has the team in command of its own playoff future. The Dolphins hold the number six seed and second wild card spot in the AFC due to a conference record tiebreaker over the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.

The Dolphins have come a long way from their 1-4 start. If I would’ve told you that the Miami Dolphins are going to start 1-4 and then turn things around by winning six straight games and be in position for a wild card spot, you would’ve told me I was crazy. Ironically the crazy thing is that with each game that passes by, the Dolphins are getting better.

Next up is the Baltimore Ravens. Now they won’t be easy to beat, but they’re definitely not the same Ravens as we’re used to. Offensively they’re ranked 25th while averaging 19.8 points per game. In the beginning of this season Miami struggled with their run defense, but since the win streak began, Miami has definitely improved stopping the run.

What once was our weakness has no become one of our strengths. Nevertheless, the Ravens are still the Ravens which means they’re still a good team. Defensively the Ravens are really good. In point allowed they’re ranked fourth while allowing 18.3 points per game. Now even our running game has been the force of our turnaround, however, the Ravens are ranked first in stopping the run while allowing 74.9 yards per game.

I believe this game will come down to who’s going to make mistakes. Such as throwing interceptions, fumbling the ball, and etc. Now if we’re playing the Baltimore Ravens with the previous coaches, we’ve had in the past, I wouldn’t even feel like we have a chance to win but we have Adam Gase. Adam Gase has shown to adapt as the game goes and to mask the offensive deficiencies. Hopefully, this game won’t end up like 2008 but you know the only saying “pay back is you know.”
