MLB All-Stars reflect on legacy of Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully

For 67 years Vin Scully has broadcasted Major League Baseball games, bringing viewers closer to the action with impeccable detail and superb stories. Perhaps the greatest tribute to his illustrious career is that the players on the field enjoy Scully calling their games just as much as the fans at home enjoy listening to him do it on TV.

“The first time I met him was in 2012 when I signed,” said Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager. “He was glad to have you as part of the family when really all you wanted to do was meet him.”

Said Harper, echoing a popular sentiment around the game: “I wish he could consider doing the World Series. There’s nobody that else I think should be able to do it in [his] last year.”
