Mike Minor leaves start after one inning with shoulder discomfort

Braves left-hander Mike Minor left Saturday night's start against the Mets (GameTracker) after one inning with left shoulder discomfort, the team announced. He is heading for further evaluation.

Minor, 26, missed spring training and the first few weeks of the season with shoulder inflammation. It's worth noting his fastball averaged 90.7 mph on Saturday, right in line with his 90.5 mph season average.

In 24 starts and 144 1/3 innings coming into Saturday, Minor went 6-11 with a 4.74 ERA (76 ERA+). He went 13-9 with a 3.21 ERA (117 ERA+) in 32 starts and 204 2/3 innings last year.
