A showdown between two of the top teams in the country will take place in the Texas Class 6A regional finals this week.

Oak Ridge (Conroe, Texas), ranked No. 6 overall, will take on Dallas Jesuit, ranked No. 7, on June 6 for the right to advance to the state tournament. Both teams lost their first game of their regional semifinal series before winning two in a row to advance to the regional final.

JSerra Catholic, meanwhile, saw its season come to an early end after a surprising loss to Hart (Newhall) in the Southern Section quarterfinals. The Lions remain in the rankings, however, due to a previous win over Mississippi state champion DeSoto Central at the National High School Invitational.
