Marcus Jordan arrested in Omaha

Marcus Jordan, son of NBA great Michael Jordan, was released from an Omaha, Neb., jail Sunday night after his arrest in a hotel parking lot.

Jordan, who averaged 13 points per game for Central Florida as a junior last season, was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstruction, according to police.

Omaha police were called to an Embassy Suites hotel around 2:15 a.m. Sunday and found the 6-foot-3 guard "animated, intoxicated and uncooperative." Jordan apparently was arguing with two women in the driveway.

Authorities said Jordan, 21, was subdued by several officers after a struggle.

In his police mugshot, Jordan was smiling and wearing black-rimmed glasses.

Jordan apparently tweeted that he was in Omaha for the U.S. Olympic Swimming and Diving Trials.
