LLWS RECAP: Goodlettsville (Tenn.) 4, McAllister Park (Texas) 3

Goodlettsville, Tenn., pushed across two runs in the top of the sixth inning and went on to claim a 4-3 come-from-behind victory over McAllister Park, Texas, on Wednesday night in a Little League World Series U.S. bracket quarterfinal in Williamsport, Pa.

Representing the Southeast Region, the Tennessee team earned a berth in Saturday's tournament semifinals.

Trailing 3-2 entering the final inning, Goodlettsville (3-0) quickly put two men on with none out. Jake Rucker reached on a leadoff walk and Jason Brown singled to put runners at second and third.

Rucker advanced and scored the tying run on an error, and Brown came home with the game-winner on catcher Cole Carter's single.

Reliever Ryan Lyle entered in the fifth and worked two-thirds of an inning for the win. Luke Brown pitched the sixth for a save.

Zachary Sanchez led McAllister Park, going 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.

The San Antonio team, representing the Southwest Region, is 2-1 and plays Petaluma (Calif.) in a Thursday semifinal qualifier. The winner meets Goodlettsville in Saturday's semifinals.

U.S. and International bracket winners will meet for the Little League World Series championship in a single-game showdown Sunday.
