Welcome to Week 2 of the NFL. Below I'll keep you up to date on the inactives, then bring you some of the early game action and some fake football analysis into the late games. Good luck with all your teams!

For lineup decisions let Pat Daugherty help you out with his Week 2 Rankings. For sleepers let Nick Mensio give you the scoop in his latest. And always be sure to read Evan Silva’s detailed look at every game in his Matchups column.

* Carson Palmer (shoulder) will not play in Sunday's game against the Giants. Fitzgerald and Floyd will still see their targets from Drew Stanton, but the offense will probably have more trouble overall.

* A source informed ESPN's Adam Schefter that he's "75 percent" sure neither Brandon Marshall (ankle) nor Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) plays Sunday night against the 49ers. Upgrade the other offensive players and the 49ers defense and downgrade Jay Cutler.

* Kenbrell Thompkins is inactive and Aaron Dobson is active for the Patriots' Week 2 matchup with the Vikings. Dobson makes for a decent flier after Thompkins saw 10 targets last week.

* DeAngelo Williams (thigh) is inactive for Week 2 against the Lions. Jonathan Stewart gets a bump, but there are still many moving parts in this backfield.

* Jordan Cameron (shoulder) is inactive for Week 2 against the Saints. Expect to see a lot of Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell even if the Saints get up on them quick. Also bump Andrew Hawkins up.

* The Panthers have deactivated RE Greg Hardy against the Lions. Bump the Lions offense up a smidge.

* Jaguars declared Cecil Shorts (hamstring) inactive for Sunday's game at Washington and Allen Hurns and Marqise Lee get the starts once again in a good matchup.

* Austin Davis looks like he'll start for the Rams at QB. The Bucs' defense looks like a good play.

* Doug Martin 'unlikely' to play against Rams according to Tom Krasniqi of 620 WDAE in Tampa Bay. He calls it a "feeling" and even if he does play believes Rainey gets a good chunk of work.

* Now NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports it's a "long shot" that Doug Martin (knee) plays against the Rams. Upgrade Rainey.

* And one more, now Jay Glazer is saying Martin will be inactive.

GOOD LUCK ALL! LET'S PLAY SOME FAKE FOOTBALL!!

* Andre Ellington gets a 22 yard gain on his first carry. Good to see him looking good with his foot hurting.

* Stafford connects with Golden Tate for a 21 yard gain. He's gotta love Megatron on the other side of the field.

* Drew Stanton with a 19 yard gain to Michael Floyd. Good start for those with Cardinals offensive players today.

* Dez Bryant and Romo hooking up early for 25 yards. This one could become a shootout if the Cowboys can get their offense going.

* Golden Tate gets lucky that his teammates come up with his fumble.

* And bad news as Dez Bryant heads to the locker room after getting his right shoulder looked at.

* C.J. Spiller being stretched out by trainers on the sideline. Laying on the ground.

* Kyle Rudolph with two quick receptions. Should be heavily involved with AP out and Belichick probably trying to shut down CPat.

* Matt Asiata pays off for those that picked him up with a 25 yard pass completion for a TD.

* Sammy Watkins also hurting. Will look for more info.

* Dez Bryant probable to return with shoulder injury

* Larry Fitzgerald TD. Drew Stanton with a 12 play drive. Waiting for review.

* Lamar Miller first RB on field for Miami. Gains about 6 yards.

* DeMarco Murray fumbles the ball away.

* Larry Fitzgerald's knee was down so no TD. 3rd and goal and Jonathan Dwyer gets the carry and the touchdown.

* Allen Hurns drops a pass that had a shot to be like an 80-yd TD.

* Jeremy Hill getting a little more early work than last game and looking good.

* Terrance West gets an 11 yard reception. Good news since he saw no targets last game.

* RGIII down on the sidelines holding his head.

* Spiller and Bryant back.

* Ted Ginn with a masterful punt return for a TD puts the Cards up 19-14.

* Mark Ingram gets a goal line TD and the Saints go up on the Browns by one. That's 3 TDs for Ingram already this year.

* RG III went down without contact. First indications are not good.

* A.J. Green (toe) questionable to return, Ugh.

* Kirk Cousins is in and throws a touchdown pass to Darrell Young on his first pass.

* First and goal for the Patriots after an interception of Cassel. Will be interesting to see if Vereen gets carries.

* Ridley gets the goal line carry, doesn't get in and then gets another and does get in. Belitricks as usual.

* Eli Manning intercepted. Same as it ever was. This is not his beautiful house.

* Mark Ingram with two receptions. Great news for his value if that keeps up.

* Jonathan Dwyer with 4 carries to Ellington's 2 at the moment.

* Knowshon Moreno down with an elbow injury.

* Joique Bell lost fumble. Bad news after a fumble last week that he didn't lose.

* DeSean Jackson hurting too.

* Bell's fumble is overturned. Bad that he keeps fumbling, but lucky that they have yet to hurt the team.

* AJ Green walks slowly back onto field, sitting on bench without helmet.

* Moreno is OUT.

* Jake Locker picked off. Cowboys moving the ball with Murray.

* RG3 is out with an ankle injury.

* DeMarco Murray gets in for a TD. He's up to 83 yards on just 11 carries now.

* Drew Brees has 9 yards passing so far.

* Alf Morris doesn't get vultured this time as he goes in from the goal line.

* AJ Green is done for the day with a toe injury.

* Eli Manning fumbles. The target Giants with your D/ST plan working at the moment.

* DeSean Jackson is out.

* Matt Cassel picked off again.

* 3 catches for 65 yards for Sammy Watkins. Looks like he's feeling ok.

* Jake Locker off to a horrible start, 3/9 for 16 yards and an interception.

* Julian Edelman with a big drive there and tops it off with a touchdown.

* 26 yard run for Mark Ingram, but only his second run of the day.

* Alfred Morris gets in for another 1 yard TD run.

* Eric Ebron gets his second catch of the day. Good to see him getting more involved.

* Victor Cruz finally with a catch, a 27 yarder. Manning must get him the ball more for success.

* 46 yard catch and run from Gio Bernard. That's 80 yards through the air for Gio.

* D. Murray is your first 100 yard rusher today with 111. He's making up for that fumble.

* Nate Freese has now missed three FGs this season. He gone.

* Gio Bernard gets the short yardage work and goes in from the four for a TD. Good news for Bernard with Hill running well today.

* Eli Manning to Rueben Randle with the red zone TD. Great catch by Randle, just what you hope for him on the fade and going up to make the contested catch.

* Marques Colston and Jimmy Graham have yet to see a target.

* Drew Brees is picked sixed by the Browns. That was an overthrow and Graham's first target.

* Patriots running back snaps: Stevan Ridley 14 of 27; Shane Vereen 7 of 27; Brandon Bolden 6 of 27.

* Matt Ryan having a much different game this week with 60 yards passing at half.

* Brees and Graham hooking up now as they drive to end the half.

* Chad Henne ends a horrible half with a 63 yard TD pass to Marcedes Lewis.

* Jimmy Graham puts on a clinic on that drive and does what he does with five receptions for 57 yards and a TD.

* Patriots block a FG and return it for a TD.

* Niles Paul is up to 7 receptions for 97 yards. He and Cousins have a connection to be sure.

* Kirk Cousins is 14 of 15 for 170 yards and a TD.

* Larry Fitzgerald has 7 targets after having 4 all last game.

* Sammy Watkins at the half has 5 catches for 89 yards.

* The Dolphins get across the 50 yard line for the first time today.

* Terrance West out-touching Crowell 16-3.

* Stafford play action TD pass to Jed Collins at the goal line. Stafford owners are happy, but just them.

* Andrew Hawkins has 8 targets, but only 3 receptions for 21 yards.

* Ian Rapoport tweets: The fear is QB Robert Griffin III has a dislocated ankle, source says. There will be tests to confirm. But obviously not good news

* Locker to Delanie Walker for a 61 yard TD. That was much needed for Locker's fantasy owners.

* CJ Spiller goes 102 yards on the kickoff return for a TD. At least we get his TD in non return yardage leagues.

* Another big bomb, this one from Andy Dalton for 76 yards to Sanu.

* Matt Cassel picked off again. That's 3 on the day.

* Maurice Jones-Drew confirmed inactive so it should be Darren McFadden-Latavius Murray for the Raiders.

* Drew Brees lobs one up to Graham for a 1 yard TD. That's #2 for Jimbo.

* Matt Ryan is picked off for the first time this season.

* Mark Ingram on 9 touches has 88 yards from scrimmage: 6 carries, 67 yards; 3 catches for 21 yards.

* Marcedes Lewis is questionable to return with an ankle injury.

* Jeremy Hill gets a one yard TD. He was the RB much of that drive.

* Dez Bryant with a 3 yard TD catch, his specialty.

* Jimmy Graham now has 6 multi-TD games since 2013

* Greg Olsen leading the Panthers with 6 catches and 72 yards and gets them down into the red zone. Panthers down 7-6

+ Cam Newton TD to Avant to make it 13-7 Panthers.

* Mike Wallace makes a one-handed 7 yard TD grab to pull within 6.

* Terrance West with a nine yard run for a touchdown and Cleveland are up 23-17.

* Matt Asiata with 5 receptions. Not great numbers, but a TD and those receptions are big.

* Gronkowski having a quiet game, but now up to 4 receptions.

* Matt Ryan picked off again. The Bengals are doing work.

* C.J. Spiller gains 47 yards. Guy is still explosive.

* Manuel throws to Watkins for a 12 yard TD. Watkins having a bit of a coming out party.

* Locker picked off by Rolando McClain.

* Cody Latimer a healthy scratch.

* 158 total yards for Gio Bernard.

* Washington has 8 sacks on Chad Henne so far today.

* Kelvin Benjamin with an amazing catch. You'll see that one in gif form.

* Dez Bryant now up to 10 receptions on 14 targets for 103 yards and a TD. This was the type of usage we were looking for with Linehan as play caller.

* Delanie Walker having a huge game with 10 receptions for 142 yards and a TD.

* Niles Paul having a big game with a short TD reception to put him up to 8 receptions for 99 yards and a TD, Washington up big 31-7.

* Jonathan Stewart rushes in for a TD to go up 21-7. That's the first JStew TD since 1837.

* Marques Colston has yet to see a target and doesn't look like he's playing in 2 receiver sets.

* Henne intercepted. Washington defense putting up some fantasy points.

* Larry Donnell has caught 7 passes for 81 yards. Looking like the real deal.

* Matt Ryan completes a 14 yard TD to Julio Jones to finally get in the end zone.

* Matt Cassel picked off for the 4th time today. Bridgewater can't be too far away.

* Hoyer trying to win this game for the Browns down 1 with 1:37 left.

* Henne sacked once again. Just nonstop pressure.

* Saints defense leaves Hawkins wide open to get into FG range in the red zone. Cundiff goes for the win.

* Browns take a 2 point lead over the Saints on the Cundiff FG with 3 seconds remaining.

* Bobby Rainey with 2 carries for 28 yards already.

* The Cardinals pulled out a win in NY with their backup QB Stanton. If Palmer's injury isn't serious that is great news for them.

* Andre Ellington put up 101 yards on 16 touches. He needs some TDs, but it's good to see him still putting up numbers.

* Josh McCown runs it in for a TD.

* Larry Fitzgerald got his targets (10) but caught 6 for just 51 yards while Michael Floyd caught one pass for 19 yards on six targets. He needs Palmer back for sure.

* Julio Jones remains matchup proof as the Falcons were buried by the Bengals, but he caught 7 of 13 targets for 88 yards and a TD. After him there weren't really any positive fantasy players though.

* Allen Hurns is hurt with a few seconds left in a game the Jags are down 31 points.

* Sammy Watkins was the big fantasy winner in the Buffalo/Miami game as he got 11 targets, catching 8 for 117 yards and a touchdown. After.

* Michael Bennett can't dance.

* The Panthers defense is for real still. Beware starting players against them.

* Zac Stacy goes in for a 2 yard TD. A couple nice catches from Brian Quick helped get them down field.

* Julius Thomas catches a TD, his 4th of the year.

* Percy Harvin goes for a 51 yard TD run. The guy is faster than most guys.

* Arian Foster is alive and well with a 41 yard touchdowns run. The Raiders defense is looking like a target for RBs.

* Geno Smith strikes first with a rushing TD against the Packers.

* Percy Harvin clearly stepped out of bounds on his TD run, but they didn't catch it and it still goes for a TD.

* Washington confirms RG3 dislocated his ankle.

* AJ Green has turf toe. Will undergo tests on that to determine how long he'll be out.

* Arian Foster's TD does not count. It's 2nd and goal now after Foster was tackled.

* JJ Watt catches a TD!

* Jamaal Charles limps off to the sideline.

* Knowshon Moreno has a dislocated elbow.

* RG3's dislocated ankle looks like it will keep him out the season.

* Geno Smith throws a beautiful TD to Eric Decker for 29 yards and the Jets go up 14 in Green Bay.

* Bobby Rainey playing well. He could easily take a lot of work from Martin if he continues.

* McCown picked off.

* Jamaal Charles being taken into the locker room.

* Rivers to Gates TD. Chargers up 10-7 on Seahawks.

* Bernard and Hill rushed an amazing 42 times and saw 8 targets. Bernard led the way with 32 touches for 169 yards and a touchdown while Hill had 86 yards on 17 touches. The loss of AJ Green with turf toe probably helped those touches a bit.

* Ankle injury for Jamaal Charles, return is questionable.

* Jordy Nelson making great catches, this one down to the one yard line. Doesn't look like it will stand.

* Arian Foster down to the one again. Needs a TD for his fantasy owners.

* Foster gets in this time after a false start he goes in from five yards out.

* Brian Hoyer didn't look good much of the game, but did get the win. Terrance West led the way with 21 touches for 90 yards and a touchdown, while Crowell had a good game with 12 touches for 57 yards. These two look to be good enough to take over for Tate as long as he's out.

* Demaryius Thomas has an 80 yard TD called back because an ineligible man was downfield.

* Knowshon Moreno expected to miss four weeks with dislocated elbow.

* Tavon Austin hurt his leg.

* Gerald McCoy is now out for the game with his hand injury.

* Lightning delay in Tampa Bay.

* Derek Carr runs 41 yards, but gets picked off on the drive.

* Percy Harvin fumbles a kickoff and the Chargers in the red zone.

* Andrew Hawkins led the team in targets, receptions and yards again.

* Jets score again, this time on a 4 yard TD run by Ivory. 21-3 Jets. Geno Smith looking very good so far.

* The Cowboys offense was Demarco Murray and Dez Bryant. Murray touched the ball 30 times for 173 yards and a TD while Bryant has 14 targets and caught 10 for 103 yards and a TD. So out of 62 plays 44 went to Murray or Bryant.

* Antonio Gates gets another TD and goes up 21-7 on Seattle.

* Knile Davis gets in from the goal line.

* Robert Turbin catches a TD from Russell Wilson.

* Peyton Manning to Jacob Tamme TD.

* Joique Bell saw 11 targets and 10 carries.

* Andre Johnson on the sideline being evaluated.

* Shane Vereen with just 7 touches while Steven Ridley saw 25 carries for 101 yards and a TD with the big lead. Ridley didn't fumble so we can cross our fingers that he will be the early down back and get time killing carries.

* James Jones fumbles twice on one play.

* Gerald McCoy has a broken hand.

* Geno Smith intercepted. The Packers will try to move the ball the length of the field just nder 2 minutes.

* Demaryius Thomas makes a great catch for a TD from a beautiful pass from Manning.

* Marshawn Lynch with just 3 carries.

* Davante Adams with 3 catches on 4 targets for 36 yards while Boykin has caught 1 of 4 for 6 yards. We may be seeing Adams passing Boykin.

* Darren McFadden levels a DB.

* Chris Ivory has nine touches for 36 yards, 1 TD. Chris Johnson has seven touches for 7 yards, 0 TD.

* DeAndre Hopkins 12 yard TD catch. Houston up 24-0

* Antonio Gates is 22 again. He catches his 3rd TD of the day.

* Ryan Mathews being carted off. Donald Brown will be the early down back with Woodhead the passing down back.

* McCown gets in for the second time today, this time on a bootleg.

* James Jones has 10 targets and has caught 7 for 92 yards.

* Randall Cobb catches his second TD of the game.

* Darren McFadden runs one in from the goal line.

* Schefter reports Brandon Marshall will play.

* Beat report Michael Wright is reporting Jeffery will play.

* Eric Decker grabbing at his hamstring.

* Nick Folk ties it up with a 52 yard FG.

* Aaron Rodgers completes a 80 yard TD to Jordy Nelson. Nelson up to 190 yards on 7 receptions and that TD.

* Both Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery are ACTIVE for Sunday Night Football.

* Ryan Mallett getting mop up duty in Oakland.

* Devonta Adams has surpassed Boykin. Make the switch.

* James Jones catches a TD. That's 9 catches for 112 yards and a TD, his 2nd TD of the year.

* Bobby Rainey up to 145 yards and has looked great.

* Broncos cause an Alex Smith fumble and recover. The call was overturned. KCs ball still.

* Sprained MCL for Ryan Matthews. Same injury as Ben Tate. Out 2-4 weeks.

* Greg Zuerlein puts the Rams up by 2 with seconds remaining.
