Lions agree to terms with Golden Tate on five-year contract

The Detroit Lions announced they've agreed to terms on a five-year contract with veteran wide receiver Golden Tate.

Tate visited the Lions today and now he'll be working in tandem with star wide receiver Calvin Johnson.

The 25-year-old former Seattle Seahawks starter caught 64 passes for 898 yards and five touchdowns last season for the Super Bowl champions.

In the past two seasons, he's caught 109 passes for 1,586 yards and a dozen touchdowns.
