Kings promote G McCallum

The Sacramento Kings recalled rookie guard Ray McCallum from Reno of the NBA Development League on Wednesday.

McCallum was sent to the Bighorns on Nov. 21 and averaged a team-leading 22.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.33 steals in three games. He scored a season-high 28 points in a game against Sioux Falls on Nov. 22.

A second-round draft pick by the Kings in June, McCallum signed a reported three-year contract after impressing the team during the NBA's summer league.
