Jared Allen to visit Seahawks again
Former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen is set to visit the Seattle Seahawks for a second time, according to ESPN.
That would seem to suggest that a deal is about to be hammered out considering that the Dallas Cowboys have already signed Henry Melton after Allen visited Dallas.
Allen, 31, could provide a pass-rushing force for the Seahawks, who also retained defensive end Michael Bennett. They also have Cliff Avril on their defensive line. After cutting Chris Clemons, Allen could fill that void.
Allen can still play.
He recorded 11.5 sacks last season with six tackles for losses and six pass deflections.
