Jaguars Fall to Bengals, 33-23
Denard Robinson established the ground game, but it wasn't enough to avoid a rough loss for the Jaguars at the hands of the Bengals, 33-23, in Cincinnati.
Blake Bortles accounted for two touchdown on 22 of 33 passing for 247 yards and one pick. Andy Dalton finished 19 for 31 with 233 yards passing, two touchdowns and two picks for the Bengals.
Robinson was a bright spot for the Jaguars, running for 94 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown in addition to two receptions for 10 yards. Allen Hurns was a leading receiver, hauling in seven balls for 112 yards with two touchdowns.
The Jacksonville defense gave up 191 yards rushing and 233 passing. They sacked Dalton two times.
Bengals running back Jeremy Hill could not be contained, putting up 154 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Mohamed Sanu also put together a noteworthy performance with 95 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Next week, the Jaguars host the Cowboys (6-3) while the Bengals take on the Browns (5-3), also at home.
