Indians activate Chisenhall from disabled list

The Cleveland Indians have activated infielder Lonnie Chisenhall from the 60-day disabled list, the team announced Sunday.

Chisenhall has not played in the majors since suffering a broken right forearm June 29. He was hitting .278 with three home runs and nine RBIs.

The Indians made room for Chisenhall on the 40-man roster by transferring right-handed reliever Josh Tomlin from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list. They now have 34 players on their expanded eligible big league roster.
