Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon allegedly took the parking ticket he received from an attendant and threw it back in the attendant’s face.

Mixon was suspended from the Sooners’ win Thursday vs. Iowa State because of the altercation. Mixon apologized earlier in the week for not acting “appropriately” after he received the ticket and a lawyer for Mixon said he tore up the ticket and threw it to the ground.

The lawyer’s comment offers a different take than what is in the incident report, obtained by KFOR in Oklahoma City. The attendant alleges that Mixon approached after the citation was issued.

“Don’t put that s*** in my face,” Mixon told the attendant, the incident report states.

Mixon then ripped the citation in half and threw it at the parking attendant.

According to the incident report, the torn pieces hit the parking attendant in the face.

Mixon then got into his vehicle and “inched at the officer with vehicle in drive to intimidate the officer with vehicle,” the report details.

He also reportedly went back and parked in the same spot.

Mixon is Oklahoma’s leading rusher in 2016 and was suspended for the 2014 season after he punched a woman in a restaurant. Mixon entered a plea deal as part of the case and served a one-year suspension from the team. He returned in 2015 and was a key contributor as Oklahoma made the College Football Playoff.

Fullback Dimitri Flowers got the bulk of Oklahoma’s carries against the Cyclones in Mixon and Samaje Perine’s absence. Perine is out because of a hamstring injury.

Flowers had 22 carries for 115 yards while freshman running back Abdul Adams had eight carries for 54 yards.
