Giants Fall to Cardinals, 25-14
The Giants were taken down by the Cardinals, 25-14, at home.
Eli Manning accounted for two touchdown on 26 of 39 passing for 277 yards and two picks. Drew Stanton finished 14 for 29 with 167 yards passing, no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Cardinals.
Rashad Jennings rushed for 64 yards on 18 carries in addition to four receptions for 45 yards with one fumble. Larry Donnell was a top performer, snagging seven passes for 81 yards.
The New York defense allowed 124 yards rushing and 167 passing. They tormented Stanton with four sacks.
Cardinals running back Andre Ellington could not be contained, putting up 91 yards rushing.
The Giants will play host to the Texans (1-0) next week while the Cardinals play against the 49ers (1-0), also at home.
