Giants activate OF Pagan
The San Francisco Giants activated outfielder and leadoff hitter Angel Pagan from the 60-day disabled list, and he hit a double in his first at-bat against the Arizona Diamondbacks Friday night.
Pagan missed 69 games after undergoing hamstring surgery in May. Pagan suffered the injury on May 25 when he hit a walk-off inside-the-park home run in the 10th inning against the Colorado Rockies.
Pagan, 32, is in the first year of a four-year, $40 million contract signed last December.
He entered play Friday hitting .262 with three homers.
