Former WEC Champion Miguel Torres Arrested for Marijuana Possession

Former WEC Bantamweight champion Miguel Torres has been arrested in his home state of Indiana for possession of marijuana.

The 32-year-old was never far from the headlines during his career with Zuffa. He was released in late 2011 after he made an ill-advised joke about rape on Twitter, before being given another chance. Following his loss to Michael McDonald at UFC 145, he was given his marching orders for the final time.

He signed with Titan Fighting Championship, but made his post Zuffa return in the World Series of Fighting 1 show, dropping a split decision to Marlon Moraes in November of 2012.

Torres was charged with possession of marijuana last weekend and released after he posted a $1,500 cash bond, according to information released by the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
