Former Fighter Jason ‘Mayhem' Miller Live-Tweeting Standoff with Police
Former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Jason “Mayhem” Miller has long been beset with troubles in his personal life. On Thursday, Miller faced another incident, as police apparently tried to serve an arrest warrant that ended up in a standoff with a SWAT team called to the scene.
Police on Thursday were called to the scene at the 26000 block of Avenida Calidad in Mission Viejo regarding a suspect who had barricaded himself in his home when deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant. KTLA 5 later confirmed with Lt. Jeff Hallock of the Orange County Sheriff's Department that Jason Miller was the individual that had barricaded himself in his home.
Orange County Sheriff's officials confirmed that a SWAT team was called to the sight.

At the time of publication, the situation was still ongoing, and Miller had been tweeting for a couple of hours about the incident. His final tweet before publication pointed to an ever-escalating police presence, while he was calling for a “peaceful solution,” leaving it unclear why he had barricaded himself in the home:

Miller has been in and out of trouble with police throughout his career. He most recently was arrest under allegations of domestic abuse and for violating a court issued “stay-away” order.
