Eagles Defeat Texans, 31-21
LeSean McCoy had a big day for the offense, leading the way to a good win for the Eagles over the Texans, 31-21, in Houston.
Mark Sanchez found the end zone for two scores against the Texans on 15 of 22 passing for 202 yards and two picks. On the Texans side, Ryan Fitzpatrick went 13 for 27 with 203 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick.
McCoy was a key factor for the Eagles, running all over the Texans for 117 yards on 24 carries. Jeremy Maclin was a highlight, pulling in six passes for 158 yards with two touchdowns.
The Philadelphia defensive unit led the way to a victory, allowing 118 yards rushing and 203 passing. They terrorized Fitzpatrick and the Texans offensive line with four sacks.
Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had a big day with 115 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Arian Foster also had a good game with 63 receiving yards, 56 rushing and one touchdown.
The Eagles will play host to the Panthers (3-5) next week while the Texans head to Cleveland to face off with the Browns (5-3).
