Colts Pick Up 41-17 Win Over Titans
Andrew Luck had a big day throwing the ball, paving the way to a blowout win for the Colts over the hapless Titans, 41-17, at home.
A superb performance for Luck was capped by four touchdowns on 29 of 41 passing for 393 yards and one pick. In comparison, Charlie Whitehurst did not have as good a day for the Titans, going 12 of 23 with 177 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick.
Trent Richardson carried the ball 20 times for 47 yards with a touchdown while adding four receptions for 52 yards. Reggie Wayne was a highlight, pulling in seven passes for 119 yards with a touchdown.
The Indianapolis defensive unit led the way to a victory, allowing 85 yards rushing and 194 passing. They got to Whitehurst for three sacks.
Titans tight end Delanie Walker provided some spark with 84 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Bishop Sankey had a good game as well with 34 rushing yards, 23 receiving and one touchdown.
The Colts will play host to the Ravens (3-1) next week while the Titans play against the Browns (1-2), also at home.
