Chargers sign FB Gronkowski

Fullback Chris Gronkowski signed with the San Diego Chargers.

Gronkowski has appeared in 35 career games, including 14 games with the Denver Broncos in 2012. Current Chargers head coach Mike McCoy was Gronkowski's offensive coordinator with the Broncos last season.

Gronkowski is the younger brother of the New England Patriots' Rob Gronkowski and Cleveland Browns' fullback Dan Gronkowski. The brothers are the first trio from one family to play in the NFL since Brian, Gary and Rich Baldinger all played in 1992.
