CB Taylor signs with Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins announced the signing on Thursday of cornerback Jamar Taylor, the team's second-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
The Miami Herald reported that the four-year deal was worth $3.6 million.
Taylor recently had sports hernia surgery and isn't expected to participate in the Dolphins' organized team activities or minicamp. Once he is recovered, he is projected as a potential third cornerback on the depth chart.
Taylor, the No. 54 overall selection in April, was a three-year starter at Boise State who finished his college career with 137 tackles, seven interceptions, 18 passes defensed, 11 tackles for loss, six forced fumbles and five sacks.
As a three-year starter for the Broncos, he played in 48 games, making 35 starts.
