Carlos Quentin: Sits Wednesday

Update: Quentin (wrist) is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Dodgers, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Recommendation: Quentin exited Tuesday's game with after he was struck on the wrist with an errant pitch, so it doesn't come as much surprise that the Padres are keeping him out of Wednesday's tilt. Fortunately, X-rays came back negative on the wrist and he's unlikely to require a DL stint. Expect him back in the lineup at least by the weekend, possibly even in Thursday's series finale.
