Cardinals pick up offensive tackle

The Arizona Cardinals signed veteran free-agent offensive tackle Pat McQuistan to a one-year deal Monday and placed reserve lineman Jeremy Bridges on season-ending injured reserve.

McQuistan was released by the Dallas Cowboys on Friday. The six-year veteran played 10 regular-season games for New Orleans last season.

Bridges sustained a thumb injury in the Cardinals' preseason finale Thursday against Denver.

The Cardinals also signed linebacker Jamaal Westerman off waivers and filled out their practice squad with linebackers Colin Parker and Ricky Elmore, defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin, tight end Steve Skelton, offensive tackle Steven Baker, and wide receivers Gerell Robinson and Isaiah Williams.
