C.J. Miles scores 28, Pacers slip by Timberwolves

The Indiana Pacers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in a close one, 100-96. Indiana (9-19) has won just two of their last 10 games.

C.J. Miles came off the bench and had a strong game, scoring 28 points on 10-18 shooting from the field (4-11 from behind the arc) and 4-5 from the free throw line. Other top performers for Indiana were Roy Hibbert with 15 points and eight rebounds, and Donald Sloan with 10 points and seven assists. Despite the loss, Mo Williams put up 24 points off the bench for Minnesota on 10-16 shooting, including 2-5 from behind the arc. He also tallied 10 assists. Shabazz Muhammad chipped in 21 points and six rebounds and Gorgui Dieng finished with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Minnesota (5-21) has now dropped their last five in a row.

Coming up next, the Pacers take on the New Orleans Pelicans, who are 14-13 on the year. The Timberwolves match up with the Cleveland Cavaliers, currently 16-10 this season.
