Blue Jackets reassign F Craig to Springfield

The Columbus Blue Jackets reassigned forward Ryan Craig to Springfield (Mass.) of the American Hockey League on Monday.

Craig, 31, has not scored in three games with the Blue Jackets this season. Last season with Springfield, he scored 20 points and had 27 assists in 75 games.

Craig, an eighth-round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2002, has 32 goals and 31 assists in 193 NHL games. He has also played for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
