Blackhawks F Bolland, G Emery out with injuries

Chicago Blackhawks forward Dave Bolland and goaltender Ray Emery will not play in Game 1 of their playoff series Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild due to lower-body injuries, according to ESPN Chicago.

Bolland missed three straight games because of a lower-body injury. He sustained the injury April 22 against the Vancouver Canucks. He missed 13 games in all this season from various injuries. Bolland has seven goals and seven assists this season.

Emery missed two games because of a lower-body injury that he sustained last Wednesday against the Edmonton Oilers. He is 17-1-0 with a 1.94 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage this season.

Corey Crawford will start at goalie and Henrik Karlsson will back him up. Crawford went 19-5-5 with a 1.94 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage this season.
