Blackhawks call up Morin, Mills

The Chicago Blackhawks announced on Friday that they have recalled forward Jeremy Morin from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

The Blackhawks also agreed to terms with forward Brad Mills on a one-year contract and recalled him from the IceHogs.

The Blackhawks also placed defenseman Michael Kostka on Injured Reserve, retroactive to Oct. 22. He is sidelined with an upper-body injury.

Morin, 22, had four goals and four assists in eight games this season with the IceHogs.

Mills, 30, has two goals and two assists in eight games this season with Rockford. He has played in 31 NHL games, all with New Jersey.
