Bills retain LB Scott with one-year deal

Veteran linebacker Bryan Scott tweeted Wednesday that he has re-signed with the Buffalo Bills.

"Signing on for year 11 in the NFL! What a blessing," Scott said on his Twitter account while displaying a picture of an NFL contract with his name.

By signing a one-year contract with the Bills, Scott passed up an opportunity to become an unrestricted free agent next week and test the open market.

The 10-year veteran has played in Buffalo the past six seasons as a linebacker and safety and on special teams.

"Dedicated to make the city of Buffalo proud and give them something great to cheer for," Scott said in another tweet.

Scott, 31, finished the 2012 season with 66 tackles, four interceptions and two fumble recoveries.
