Bills add five to practice squad

The Bills announced five signings to their practice squad on Sunday.

Those signees were guard Mark Asper, defensive end Jamie Blatnick, defensive end Izaan Cross, quarterback Thad Lewis and wide receiver Tommy Streeter.

Asper was drafted by the Bills in 2012 but didn't make the roster. He spent the year with the Vikings and Jaguars.

Streeter was drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round of the 2012 draft. He was released by Baltimore this preseason after spending the 2012 season on injured reserve.

Blatnick spent some of the 2012 season on the Broncos practice squad.

Cross signed an offseason deal with the Bills after going undrafted out of Georgia Tech in April.

The Bills traded for Lewis on Aug. 25 with the Lions. Lewis spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons on Cleveland's 53-man roster and practice squad.
