Big 12 drops out of top 10 in latest AP poll

The Big 12’s bad Week 9 was reflected in Sunday’s AP poll.

The conference had two teams in the top 10 entering Saturday, but both West Virginia and Baylor lost. Baylor, which was No. 8, is now No. 13 after losing to Texas. WVU fell from No. 10 to No. 14 after losing at Oklahoma State.

The conference’s highest team in the rankings is now Oklahoma. The Sooners demolished Kansas at home and are No. 12.
