Best XI: Week 22
We have a very high number of familiar faces in this week’s Best XI and we are at the point where some players have been on this list in over 18% of the weeks. That’s a pretty high success rate to be in best possible lineup and those players should be owned in as many fantasy teams as possible. Find out who they are below.
Best XI
Only Santi Cazorla missed out due to price issues this week as he was replaced by the cheaper Marouane Fellaini. Fellaini came off the bench to score for Manchester United this weekend in a short but impressive performance. In terms of familiar faces, the big ones were Diego Costa and Kieran Trippier, who both make their fifth appearances of the year.
Points
We had a pretty high point total this week at 239, which is certainly above average. A high scoring week in both real life and fantasy.
Cost
This week the BEST XI cost £ 95.04M*. The new price of our Best XI (if you were to try to create this team now after the price changes) is £ 131.83M. That’s a 38.7% increase in price. Once again, the Best XI is almost impossible to own the following week. Discounts continue to be key.
*Keep in mind the cost does NOT include any substitutes and is thus 96M instead of 100M.

MVP
This week the MVP was Dwight Gayle, who had another fantastic performance under new manager Alan Pardew. Pardew seems to have inspired Dwight Gayle and is bringing out the best of him. Gayle has now been in the Best XI two weeks in a row and should be considered again next week when they face Southampton.
Formation
3-4-3 again.

Repeat Offenders
As I mentioned above, Kieran Trippier and Diego Costa have now joined Alexis Sanchez at the top. All three players have been consistent throughout the season and should continue to be owned by all managers, especially if they are currently owned at a discount.
