Arkansas pulled out a tense, 1-0 victory over Baylor in 10 innings in Waco, Texas, on Monday night to win the deciding game of the best-of-three Super Regional and advance to the College World Series in Omaha. Baylor had the bases loaded in both fourth and fifth innings, but failed to score, then launched a final threat in the bottom of the 10th before falling to the visiting Razorbacks, who won both Game 2 and Game 3 of the series in dramatic fashion. On Sunday, Arkansas stayed alive by scoring two runs in the bottom of the ninth for a 5-4 victory. On Monday, Baylor starter Tyler Bremer shut out the Razorbacks for nine innings, but Arkansas got to reliever Dillon Newman in the top of the 10th. Brian Anderson singled, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt, then scored on Jake Wise's RBI single. The host Bears got two men on base in the bottom of the 10th, but Colby Suggs, the fifth of Arkansas' five pitchers, struck out Dan Evant to end the game and preserve the shutout. Arkansas (44-20) will face Kent State in its first game of the College World Series on Saturday.
