Second Basemen
Dropping off: Emilio Bonifacio (42nd), Rickie Weeks (46th), Jeff Baker (47th)
o It looks like Kipnis might be DL-bound with a shoulder injury, which would probably put Mike Aviles and Jose Ramirez at second base for the Indians for the next couple of weeks.
o Olivera is on the shelf again with hamstring problems, but the hope is that he’ll join Triple-A Gwinnett’s lineup in a week or two. Once that happens, it shouldn’t long before he takes over at third base for the Braves.
o I don’t imagine that either Utley or Hernandez will be worth playing in mixed leagues when the former returns from the disabled list this month. A late trade of Utley could change that and quickly provide both with fringe value again.
