Alec Burks, Gordon Hayward power Jazz over Grizzlies

The Utah Jazz beat the Memphis Grizzlies in a close one, 97-91. Utah (9-20) picked up the win after falling to Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday.

Alec Burks put up 23 points on 7-14 shooting from the field (2-4 from behind the arc) and 7-8 from the free throw line. Other key players for Utah included Derrick Favors with 15 points and seven rebounds, and Enes Kanter with 13 points and nine rebounds. Mike Conley had another quality performance for Memphis in the loss, scoring 28 points on 12-22 shooting, including 4-6 from behind the arc.

Memphis (21-7) has now lost three straight.

Coming up next, the Jazz square off against the Philadelphia 76ers, who are 3-23 on the year. The Grizzlies match up against the Houston Rockets, currently 20-7 this season. The Grizzlies are 1-1 versus Houston this season.
