All 20 World Series of Fighting Athletes Pass Drug Screen at Inaugural Event

All 20 fighters on the inaugural World Series of Fighting event in Las Vegas were subjected to drug testing, according to Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Every fighter on the card also passed his drug test, which detects performance enhancing and recreational substances.

Kizer informed MMAWeekly.com of the test results on Friday.

World Series of Fighting 1: Arlovski vs. Cole was the promotion’s first event, and aired live on the NBC Sports Network. Their follow-up effort is tentatively planned for Jan. 26, again in Las Vegas.

WSoF 1 featured former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski squaring off with former Strikeforce and IFL fighter Devin Cole in the main event. Arlovski won the bout by TKO stoppage, but his efforts were overshadowed by Anthony “Rumble” Johnson’s stunning one-punch knockout of D.J. Linderman in the co-main event.
