Ball Don't Lie - NBA

Breaking (fake) news out of New York this morning: Deloris Jordan, mother of basketball living legend Michael Jordan, has just been added to the lineup for this year's Sprite Slam Dunk Contest.

Deloris, Magic center Dwight Howard, Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay, Knicks guard Nate Robinson and a mystery fifth competitor will compete in the dunk off Feb. 14 during the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities in Phoenix.

Her highlight reel is impressive. Take note, Superman.

This was on one of the Michael Jordan highlight tapes. My friend used to come home from the bars, pop in this tape and then laugh and laugh at home MJ's mom stunt double had a mustache.
Why are you laughing? It was a hit with the ladies.

That was actually former NBA player and former Bobcats coach Sam Vincent, in the wig dunking. That was shot back in 1987 or 1988 at the Bulls practice center. I remember that clip being on the news on the Chicago stations back in the day. Those were the good old days of basketball - especially DA BULLS !!!

Kobe sucks... MJ is the BEST.... Can anyone name one player that came to the Lakers the Kobe helped to get better ? Folks forget that when Kobe got to the Lakers, and during their Championship run, the Lakers had at least 6 or 7 former All Star players on the bench, all helping Kobe. When MJ played, he had NO help, til Scottie grew up.

Wow, KPeezy, you must be a new NBA fan. I can understand if you're still getting used to all the teams and players and the game as a whole.
Here are a couple players Kobe has helped make significantly better:
    Odom
    Vujacic
    Walton
    Farmar
Kwame Brown, yes I said it
    Turiaf
    Ariza
    Bynum
    just to name a few
And Coach Dirty tactics, you're not much better. I'm far from a Kobe butt licker, I'm not even a Lakers fan at all.
But, I have a brain. And I know when to give respect when respect is due.
    Like right now
