Cavs' Jarrett Allen won't play in Game 1 of Eastern Conference semifinals vs. Boston Celtics

The Cavs will open the Eastern Conference semifinals without starting center Jarrett Allen. Despite being listed as questionable due to a bruised rib that sidelined him for the final three games of Cleveland's first-round series with the Orlando Magic, Allen will not play Tuesday night against Boston. Prior to tipoff, when asked about Allen's availability, Cavs coach J.B. Bickerstaff said, “We'll see” — the response he has given since Game 5, when Allen missed his first game of the postseason.
