Tigers erupt for 15 hits, give Flaherty first win of season

After notching a season high 13 runs Friday night, the Tigers broke the score open in the later innings in Arizona against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday to give starting pitcher Jack Flaherty his first win with the team. Flaherty struck out nine to take the American League strikeouts lead in the statistic in the 8-3 victory. Over the first two innings the Tigers offense put some pressure on Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen.
