Philadelphia Eagles extend LT Jordan Mailata, sign CB Avonte Maddox

The Philadelphia Eagles' busy offseason continued Thursday as the team extended starting left tackle Jordan Mailata and brought back slot cornerback Avonte Maddox on a one-year deal. The Eagles agreed to terms with Mailata on a three-year contract extension that will keep him with the team through the 2028 season. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the three-year deal is worth $66 million, including $48 million guaranteed. The $22 million-per-year average only puts Mailata behind Laremy Tunsil, Trent Williams and Andrew Thomas as the highest-paid tackles in the NFL.
