Tim Tebow does Steve Spurrier impression

Back in 2005, Tim Tebow was a Rivals five-star dual-threat quarterback at Nease High School in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. As the top-rated player at the position in the country, Tebow received official offers from Florida, Alabama, LSU, Michigan and USC. Of course, Tebow eventually chose the Gators and helped the program win two national championships. He also won the 2007 Heisman Trophy. Now an analyst for the fledgling SEC Network, the 27-year-old was in Columbia, S.C. covering the Texas A&M-South Carolina game. He recounted a story about also being recruited by current Gamecocks coach (and former Gators coach) Steve Spurrier, all while doing a spot-on impression of the Head Ball Coach.

Prompted by host Joe Tessitore to rehash the anecdote, Tebow didn't hold back. "He said, 'Well … you gonna come play some ball,' recalled the television newcomer. "I said, 'Well, Coach … I'm kind of leaning towards Florida.' (He responded) 'All right … we'll look forward to playing ya.'"

Tebow's account had his broadcast partners in stitches and drew rave reviews on social media.

If he keeps it up, Tebow may have found his niche.
