Miguel Cabrera throws gum at Ryan Raburn

Miguel Cabrera and Ryan Raburn were Detroit Tiger teammates for five seasons between 2008-2012. Anyone remember this gem from Raburn in 2011? Now a member of the Cleveland Indians, Raburn is enjoying a solid season for the Tribe (he was named American League Player of the Week between April 29-May 5.) That trend continued for the utility player Sunday - much to the chagrin of Cabrera.

With spot starter Jose Alvarez working on a no-hitter in the fifth inning of his Major League debut and the Tigers holding a 1-0 lead, Raburn launched a two-out blast to left. The solo shot broke up the no-no and the shutout. And as Raburn neared Cabrera at third during his home run trot, the reigning AL MVP chucked his gum at his old teammate. While the move was a little on the gross side, Raburn couldn't help but crack a smile at Miggy. Detroit had the last laugh though, beating Cleveland 4-1. Alvarez was sent back down to the minors after the one-game audition in place of Anibal Sanchez, who missed his turn in the rotation thanks to shoulder stiffness. He's expected to make his next start Saturday against Minnesota.

Meanwhile in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, LeBron James had a block, an assist and a dunk in the span of just less than 40 seconds. Miami went on a 33-5 run between the third and fourth quarters to beat San Antonio 103-84 and evened the series at a game apiece.

And in tennis, Rafael Nadal captured his eighth French Open title at Roland Garros.
