Elisha Cuthbert’s eye roll causes a stir

You may be familiar with Elisha Cuthbert from her work on Fox's "24" or the sitcom "Happy Endings" currently airing on ABC (not to mention her memorable bit part in "Old School".) What you may not know about the Canadian-born actress is that she's engaged to Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Dion Phaneuf.

With the Leafs hosting the Boston Bruins in a pivotal Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, Cuthbert was sitting in a section of the Air Canada Centre near April Reimer, wife of Toronto goaltender James Reimer. When Bruins forward David Krejci slipped the puck past Reimer in overtime for a 4-3 Boston win, Cuthbert was less than pleased. It appeared she was rolling her eyes at the unfortunate goal (which gave Krejci a hat trick) in the direction of Mrs. Reimer. But according to Reimer's Twitter account, that wasn't the case:

Thank goodness THAT got cleared up. The Maples Leafs still trail in the series 3-1 and haven't beaten the Bruins in a home playoff game since 1959.

Moving to baseball, what good is instant replay if it doesn't work? Oakland's Adam Rosales' deep drive to left-center in the top of the ninth of a 4-3 game against Cleveland looked like it was out. Instead, umpires decided to give the A's shortstop a double. The Indians eventually got out of the inning and won 4-3.

And in NFL news, the future home of the San Francisco 49ers will be known as Levi's Stadium. The team agreed on a 20-year, $220 million naming rights deal with the jeans company.
